Pooches, yesterday evening a near tragic accident (caused by my manservant) occurred and shaped our activity for today. Fence mending! My manservant headed out early to the lumber concern and returned in short order with the Hybridmobile’s boot filled with lumber.
All morning long and well past our excursion time my manservant was rebuilding a couple of sections of fencing. When he finally finished he crawled into a hot tub moaning! It seems fence mending is a more arduous job than he thought.
He finally announced there would be no excursion today because every bone in his body hurt. “Nonsense!” Starlight and I said in unison. After much
argument discussion, my manservant said maybe a “wee one” on his return from the market to procure provisions for tonight’s dinner.
We hopped in the Hybridmobile for a trip to the market and listened to my manservant moaning as we purred down the carriageway. While at the market my manservant said he was going to reward himself for a job well done. Pooches, barbecue ribs and potato salad were purchased for our lunch! Woo hoo!
On our return from the market we stopped by my manservant’s walk/run park and picnicked in the boot of the Hybridmobile. They were fine ribs! A very short stroll followed our picnic and we are now back at our den. Because it is a spring-like day, our plans are to head outside for a bit of play the remainder of the afternoon. That is, if I can get my manservant out of the chair to open the door.
