Wildlife excursion

Pooches, what an excursion we had today!  My manservant only did a small part of his walk/run this morning and by mid-morning he was raring to go.  Due to the early hour it was decided to wait to eat our lunch upon the completion of our excursion

My manservant wanted to do some serious walking and the Hybridmobile knew the perfect spot:  my Choctaw Agency park which is on my multi-use trail.  When we arrived we wasted no time in putting ourselves in high gear and off we went down the trail!!

After being delayed by a malfunctioning traffic sign, we continued southwest on the trail.  Wildlife was abundant.  The first sighting was a deer which crossed my trail right in front of us.  Starlight and I wanted to give chase but were restrained by my manservant.  Our second sighting was a rafter of wild turkeys.  We gave a short chase before they scurried  away into the woods.  Our final wildlife sighting was a fox headed toward us on the trail.  I suppose he was on the shy side because he fled in the opposite direction when he saw us.

We’re back at our den now and Starlight and I are headed for or afternoon naps.  I’m sure our dreams will include ample wild creatures!

That traffic signal sure is staying red a long time.

Signposts always have good smells at the bottom.

Starlight, I'm not ready to turn around yet. There might be more turkeys that need us to bark!

Sunshine, I have to rest.
