Magical day of chicken wings.

Pooches, my manservant dismissed his morning walk/run because he wanted to attend a lecture at his alma mater about the history of magic!  When he returned he said the lecture was spellbinding.  Starlight groaned.  I bit him on the ankle.

Telling us he had much to do today and that an excursion might not be possible, my manservant headed to our library to finish preparations for his weekend academic responsibilities.  Starlight and I headed to finish our morning naps.  We could hear occasional muttering coming from the library throughout the morning.

Around excursion time my manservant emerged from the library and said he needed a break.  Hooray!  Starlight and I bounded to the Hybridmobile.  Because there had not been time to prepare lunch the Hybridmobile headed to the market.  As the Hybridmobile rolled down the carriageway, I leaned close to the back of my manservant’s head and in a slight whisper began saying “chicken wings” over and over.  Pooches, it worked!

In a rare move, the Hybridmobile took us to my peninsula park.  It is always too hot in the summer because of the lack of shade and all of the asphalt, and too cold in the winter because of the wind coming off the water.  Today it was just perfect!  After feasting on the chicken wings in the boot of the Hybridmobile, we hopped out and began inspecting the park for dropped fish, dropped fishing bait, leftover picnic food, and other odds and ends.  It was a fine stroll but a short one because my manservant’s insistence that we return to our den in order to return to his responsibilities.

The weekend is near, Pooches!

Sunshine

Put the camera down and get out the chicken wings!

It is always fun to look for fishing bait that has been dropped.

Starlight, what are you doing over there?
Starlight, what are you doing over there?
Sunshine, our noses are working overtime today.

You keep sniffing, Starlight. I'm going to contemplate for a while.
