Pooches, when my manservant returned from his early morning walk/run at his walk/run park, he said that it was quite foggy outside and urged us to go on our excursion immediately before the fog lifted! Starlight and I were somewhat bewildered at an excursion request at such an early hour but complied and staggered out to the Hybridmobile. The Hybridmobile, having already been to the walk/run park and back, was wide awake and rather jovial for the time of day.
Starlight and I tried to fall asleep on the back seat while we were in transit but we both were hindered by our seat belts and finally gave up the attempt. My pine grove park was the destination selected by my manservant. Upon our arrival we hopped out and immediately began sniffing. Pooches, the smells were abundant (no doubt because of having been visited by many wild creatures overnight).
After our return to our den Starlight and I slept quite well until smells from the kitchen aroused us. We headed to the dining room table for lunch and my manservant brought out a bowl of black beans and rice. Starlight grunted and headed to the pooch pantry to retrieve duck strips. Pooches, we are ‘meat and potato’ pooches!
My manservant has headed off to his afternoon lecture at his alma mater and Starlight and I will be resuming our naps shortly. The weather has moderated a bit and I imagine we’ll have a good bit of back yard play time later this afternoon.
