Late excursion to my Indian mound.

Pooches, Happy Monday!  I hope all of you have had plenty of turkey and dressing the past few days.

It has been kind of boring today in our den.  My manservant resumed his early morning walk/run this morning at his walk/run park.  Upon his return, he dabbled about our den performing housekeeping duties.  After living with a fractious drain for several months, a call was made to a plumber gentleman who promised to pay a visit to unclog sometime during the morning or early afternoon.  We waited for the plumber.  My manservant had his fingers crossed in hopes that it would be during the morning because he had a particularly interesting lecture he wanted to attend in the early afternoon.  You can guess how that turned out!

Indeed, the plumber gentleman arrived just as my manservant’s lecture was scheduled to start!  My manservant had procured a bowl of turkey chili from the market this morning and we all sat around our den and enjoyed it while the plumber was busy with his unclogging responsibilities.  He soon reported the drain was flowing freely and my manservant, much relieved that it was a simple matter to rectify, paid the kindly gentleman and we rushed to the Hybridmobile to begin our already tardy excursion.

The Hybridmobile ferried us to my Indian mound park where we spent considerable time hiking in the woods.  Before we returned to our den we perambulated around the perimeter of my Indian mound park in hopes of finding a persimmon tree to raid but none were found.

Sunshine

Let's head into the woods, Starlight.

What kind of creature do you think made that noise?

Sunshine, let's race to your Indian mound.

Sunshine, let’s race to your Indian mound.

I guess I'll just sniff. It is kind of hard to race when your on a leash.

Who is that coming to my park? I don't recall anyone asking permission.
