Pooches, the joviality of yesterday’s festive feast soured this morning when it was announced that Fred and Buttons had to go to the vet. Worse yet, Buttons was going to have to ‘go under the knife’ on her visit!
Starlight and I were awash with worry as they were forced to get in the carriage and be carted away. To relieve our worries my manservant suggested that we hop in the Hybridmobile and take an early excursion at my school park. Starlight was reluctant to board the Hybridmobile fearing that my manservant was trying to trick us and take us to the vet as well. I assured her that was not the case and she finally hopped in.
It was a beautiful morning at my school park and Starlight and I had a good time running to and fro. Starlight tried to engage a gaggle of geese in a game of chase but they seemed to be an aloof gaggle and Starlight finally gave up in disappointment. I told Starlight they seemed to be the snooty type and they must not be from around here.
We’re quite hungry now and our pack (minus Buttons who is still at the vet) is about to dive in lunch. We’re having lasagna but I think I’ll also have a bit of smoked turkey on the side. A pooch can’t get too much turkey!
Pooches, I’ll see you tomorrow on Silent Saturday.
