Pooches, it has been a dull day around our pack. A cold front brought rain to us last night and left us with much cooler temperatures today. My manservant resumed his walks/runs yesterday and he left early this morning before sunrise to complete another one. I suppose my chiding him for lack of exercise a couple a couple of days ago paid off.
His return to the den following the walk/run was marked by a quick change of clothes before heading off to another lecture at his alma mater. Starlight and I are somewhat concerned by his consistent attendance at these lectures because half of them require us to modify our excursion time. Not so, today, since it was an early lecture.
By the time of his return the temperature outside had dropped considerably and the wind was rather blustery. When excursion time rolled around the temperature had dropped further. Our filet of boeuf was withdrawn from the icebox and the Hybridmobile happily carried us to the market where a steaming bowl of chili was purchased. It was a perfect meal for a chilly day. Pooches, pieces of filet of boeuf dipped in hot chili makes for a tasty treat! Woo hoo!
Our after lunch stroll was undertaken but only for a short time. Given the uneventful nature of the day, Starlight and I decided that we’d rather be napping and urged my manservant to return to the Hybridmobile so we could get back to the den.
Pooches, after this blog post I’m hitting the sack.
