Pansies planting pergola primping excursion

It’s Monday, pooches!  Starlight and I chose to sleep in this morning while my manservant headed to his walk/run park in the dark.  We were still not ready to rise when he returned.  He suggested that we could help him with the planting of pansies but we were groggy and sent him outside to conduct the gardening activity on his own.

Pooches, following the pansy planting session (which took much of the morning), my manservant started replacing lights on our pergola.  Starlight and I finally decided we had napped enough and headed outside to watch the spectacle of my manservant atop the ladder grumbling because the lights were being rather fractious.  He finally announced that he would work on them in the afternoon because he would be late for his scheduled massage if he loitered much more.

We were rather miffed when my manservant returned from his massage (and a stop at the market) because he announced that he had too much to do this afternoon to undertake an excursion.  The good news was that he had picked up lobster chowder at the market and we quickly retired to the back yard picnic bench to enjoy said chowder and chicken/cheddar pooch treats!  Hooray!  Our back yard was thoroughly sniffed after lunch.

My manservant has headed outside to undo the benefits of his massage as he wrestles again with the fractious lights.  He plans to conduct raking activity if the light installation is successful and completed with time to spare before dinner preparation activity gets underway. Starlight and I plan to nap the afternoon away!
