Run-of-the-mill excursion with a bonus!

What a fine excursion we had today, pooches!  My manservant had limited his early morning walk/run to a wimpy short stroll because he was attending another lecture at his alma mater.  This was of concern to Starlight and me because history has shown the less physical activity he undertakes in the mornings, the less of an excursion we get!

When he returned from said lecture he said we should go ahead and head out.  Starlight and I, not knowing what to expect, hopped in the Hybridmobile, crossed our claws, and hoped for the best while expecting something pitiful.  The Hybridmobile efficiently purred down the lane to my overlook while my manservant placed a call to my Mardi Gras restaurant and placed a takeaway order of thinfish and a Barq’s! He said that we would be able to pick it up on our way back to the den. Woo hoo!!

It was a beautiful morning at my overlook with a large lunchtime crowd enjoying the blue skies.  I welcomed all of them before Starlight and I pulled my manservant down the hill, anxious to get underway to my Mardi Gras restaurant to retrieve our lunch.  Pooches, it was a mediocre excursion but we paid no mind to it.  Our REAL excursion was back at our picnic bench eating thinfish!

I think I'll just sit for a while and enjoy the view.

I think I’ll just enjoy the view until it is time to go pick up our thinfish.

Why don't we build our den here?

Why don’t we build our den here?

This hill is always tough to climb back up.

Look how many humanservants are here for lunch, Starlight!  I wonder why they didn’t bring their pooches?

Hurry up and hope in the Hybridmobile. That thinfish platter is calling my name!

Holy moley!! Look at all that thinfish!!

Crivvens!! Look at all that thinfish!!

We're going to need a drink of our root beer when we finish this bite.
