Pooches, my manservant had to forego his walk/run this morning in order to get to another lecture at his alma mater. He stopped at the market on the way back to our den after the lecture and procured lunch for our excursion. Starlight excitedly peered in the grocery bag to see what we would be eating and immediately turned away, shaking her head in disgust. Pooches, it was a fruit and Greek yogurt! I immediately headed to the cabinet where the pooch treats are kept and withdrew a goodly number for Starlight and I to eat.
When excursion time rolled around we all hopped into the Hybridmobile which rolled us to my boundary park. As we traveled along toward our destination, my manservant treated us to a rehash of the lecture he had heard during the morning. By the time we reached my park, Starlight’s eyes had glazed over and my head was bobbing a bit as well. When the Hybridmobile came to a halt, Starlight and I immediately hopped out and scurried about trying to shake the cobwebs from our heads before we sat on the table for lunch.
Starlight stared in disbelief as my manservant ate his fruit and yogurt. No matter, she finally concluded, because we had plenty of pooch treats on hand. A long excursion ensued following our lunch. I believe my manservant was trying to make up for the lack of an early morning walk/run and we went from one end of my very large boundary park to the other end several times. We came across a road grader and decided to build a road with it but, alas, the keys were nowhere to be found.
Pooches, tomorrow’s Friday!!
