I’m baaack!

Well, pooches, I’ve had quite the hiatus from my blog!  Two weeks ago my manservant and womanservant told us one morning that we were going to have a road trip to Elvistown to spend a couple of weeks with our brother and sister, Fred and Buttons.  Woo hoo!!!  What they failed to tell us was that they (not me, not Starlight) were going to keep going and wind up for two weeks in me homeland, Scotland!!!  I was a wee bit angry when they let us know that we were not going to be traveling with them!  After all, what better place for a couple of West Highland White Terriers to go than the West Highlands of Scotland?

Starlight and I arrived in Elvistown a bit melancholy but Fred and Buttons stepped in and soothed our hurt feelings by being great host/hostess  during our stay.  When my manservant and womanservant arrived Thursday to pick us up on our way home Starlight and I had to confer to decide whether or not we would go and leave the fun behind!

The jet lag recovery seems complete and we headed out for an after lunch excursion to my overlook on my Rez.  I was glad to see that it was no worse for the wear after my absence.  The day was quite cool with a nice breeze blowing off the water (my manservant claims he brought the weather back with him from Scotland).  Starlight and I had a grand time sniffing about.

Pooches, it is good to be home.

Sunshine

Nothing seems to be out of order at my overlook after my long absence.

Starlight, are there any good scents over there?

Are you trying to sneak up behind me and push me in the water?

  1. One hopes you did the St. Crispin’s Day scene from Braveheart when informed you had to stay behind.
