Another rare summer cold front.

Pooches, woo hoo!  Another rare summer cold front came through these parts overnight and left wonderfully cool, dry, and fall-like air.  My manservant woke up for his regular walk/run and as soon as he stepped outside he knew that plans must be changed.  Instead of heading to his walk/run park, he returned inside and aroused Starlight and me from our morning naps and announced that it was excursion time!  Woo hoo!

Starlight and I piled into the groggy  Hybridmobile and it was off down the lane to take us to my school park.  The weather there was glorious, pooches.  In addition to cool temperatures, there was a deep blue sky and a stiff northerly breeze blowing off of the water lending a wee bit of a chill to the air.  Our stroll started along the shore but the more glorious we realized the rare weather was, the more we gravitated to my multi-use trail.  We soon were on it and engaged in a walk/run (between sniffing stops).   What a day pooches.

My manservant had many responsibilities to take care of today but it mattered not.  Starlight and I said we were going to be “outside” pooches today and have spent most of the afternoon enjoying a preview of fall.

It doesn’t get any better than this, pooches!!  Not at all.

Sunshine

Can you believe this Starlight? It is like an October morning!

Who would have thought we'd see a sky this blue in August?

The smells on my multi-use trail are particularly good on this early Wednesday morning.

I'm not sure I'm ready to stop walking.
