A brunch excursion.

Pooches, early this morning my manservant headed out for his walk/run at his walk/run park.  He returned quite pleased with himself so I assume it was a successful endeavor.  After his return he immediately headed out in the Hybridmobile to his groomer to get his fur cut (he calls it “his ears lowered”).

Upon his return from that adventure, my manservant announced that, because the temperature was supposed to return to near a normal August temperature today, that we should have a “brunch excursion.”  Starlight and I were agreeable and my manservant headed to the kitchen to prepare a tomato sandwich after visiting our garden patch to collect tomatoes and basil.  As we loaded in the Hybridmobile I reminded my manservant that a tomato sandwich was not among our favorites.  He dutifully went back inside and brought out duck strips for us pooches.  A short journey in the Hybridmobile led us to my school park where we ate enthusiastically before taking an energetic stroll about my park.

We returned to our den just in time for my manservant to head out to his two yoga classes.  Apparently the classes were successful as well because upon his return we all enjoyed finishing the red beans and rice for our lunch.

Pooches, Namaste’.

Sunshine

I hope you brought something besides a tomato sandwich.

Duck strips are always our backup when it comes to excursions.

Starlight, let's go to the right.

It is always peaceful at my Rez.

Starlight, would you move over to your side of the back seat?
