Pooches, finally. After a week of out-of-the-ordinary days it appears that normalcy is within sight! My manservant did his usual walk/run at the walk/run park this morning (although a wee bit later than usual) and returned after stopping by the lumber mill to obtain boards for a construction project Starlight asked him to do. He returned and went to work in our back yard (with Starlight barking instructions the entire time) building a ramp for Starlight’s use in training my womanservant in agility classes. The structure was completed and Starlight said “it will do.”
Shortly after plunging into his next task of mowing our front lawn, my manservant rushed in and said it was almost time for his yoga classes! Pooches, we had no idea. It seems that after two months of giving his Achilles thing-a-ma-bob at rest from yoga, he determined that they had healed enough to resume and off he went to his two yoga classes. His returned was a bit later than usual because he stopped by my Mardi Gras restaurant on his return to our den and procured a bowl of gumbo. WOO HOO!!
We promptly paraded out to our picnic bench and ate with gusto. My manservant stayed with the liquid while Starlight and I reaped the benefit of shrimp and celery. After our gumbo was only a fond memory, my manservant proceeded to complete his gardening duties in the front yard.
Finally, a very late excursion took us in the Hybridmobile to my overlook. It was a grand sight: the tall grass had been cut and many boaters were out enjoying the afternoon and an early weekend.
See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday, pooches. And, as my manservant would say in honor of the resumption of his yoga classes, Namaste!
