Unexpected excursion.

Pooches, after I posted to my blog yesterday we had another terrific thunderstorm move through our parts, and, as I had to do the day before, my time was occupied with keeping our pack calm.

Mother Nature wasted no time this morning and the first storm moved through during our breakfast.  We looked at the weather radar and decided we would be excursionless today.  In the midst of the thunder this morning, my manservant said he was heading to the market and Starlight and I jumped at the opportunity to ride along.  Pooches, to our surprise, when my manservant emerged from the market the SUNSHINE appeared!  We quickly made our way to the closest park and hastily strolled around before the next storm moved in.

The good news about our unexpected excursion was that I found a new blackberry patch!  My holdings in blackberries is certainly on the rise this year!

Stay dry, pooches!

All the rain lately has made my creek rise.

Oh, good! I found a new blackberry patch.

We'd better head back to our den, Starlight. Another storm is headed our way!

My manservant calls this blanket my storm shelter.
