Everything is late today.

Pooches, almost everything seems to be happening late today.  My manservant did go to his walk/run park this morning but it was much later than usual.  He reported that he had many errands to run and it was three hours after our usual excursion time that we headed out!

The Hybridmobile, still gliding proudly in her new shoes, paused at an establishment that provided us with brats and sauerkraut ( on a white bun, pooches!) and then delivered us to my school park.  We chose a table on the waterfront.  Pooches, the lunch didn’t last two minutes before we gobbled it up!!

Our customary stroll followed, and, because it was much later than usual, my manservant said we must hurry back to our den for the preparation of the evening meal.   As we are moving into the peak period of summer veggies, a stop was made by the produce stand to acquire lady peas to accompany our speckled butterbeans, squash, and fresh tomatoes.

After the aforementioned evening meal was cooked and eaten, my manservant and woman servant headed down the lane to view this evening rise of tonight’s full moon.  Starlight and I were forbidden to accompany them.  I’m sure they regretted that decision when, while looking at the moon, they noticed a rather large alligator swimming nearby and I wasn’t there to protect them!  Nevertheless, all ended well and they returned to our den safely.

I like my Rez best when there aren't any waves splashing on the shore.

  1. Yes! A full moon, the time when, according to legend, all Westies scamper in packs over the highlands and moors howling like the free and wild beasts they are. Then they return home for kibble, scratches and a warm bed.
