Pooches, this morning I once again accompanied my manservant on his walk/run responsibilities as he opted to stay within the confines of the poochhood. I think he may be getting more in shape than he was Monday because he didn’t slow down nearly as much. I suppose that could be that it was because I let him take a rest about halfway through the regimen that I had prescribed for him!
When we returned to our den, I headed inside for my overdue morning nap and my manservant headed outside for another morning of gardening responsibilities. It was a little earlier than our usual excursion time when he completed his outside tasks and, after changing from gardening clothes to excursion clothes, we hopped in the Hybridmobile and headed out for our excursion.
My manservant surprised us by directing the Hybridmobile to my Mardi Gras restaurant. Emerging with an order of red beans and rice with sausage (woo hoo!) he boarded the Hybridmobile and directed it to take us to my park in the pine grove. We had only been there once since spring arrived and Starlight and I were thrilled to be revisiting it!
We dined in fine bumpkin-style enjoying the delicious sausage that was included in our order. In no time we had finished our meal (washed down with root beer) and quickly hopped on the ground a began our stroll. Although the day had gotten rather warm it was quite pleasant in my pine grove with a gentle breeze blowing off of the water. It was so comfortable there that we lost track of time. Before we knew it we had stayed there well beyond our afternoon nap time and directed the Hybridmobile to hurry us back to our den. The Hybridmobile wasted no time in delivering us safely (obeying all traffic laws, of course) to the safety of our pack’s residence.
The weekend is almost here, pooches!
