Afternoon excursion.

Pooches, my manservant did his regular thing at the walk/run park this morning and then spent time in the library until it was time for his yoga class.  Starlight and I knew that our excursion today was going to be both late and lunch-less.  My womanservant has headed on an overnight trip and before she left she stopped at our den to pack (pooches, the Hybridmobile II was packed to the brim for an overnight trip!) and have lunch with my manservant.  Finally, my manservant urged Starlight and I toward the Hybridmobile and we purred away for an afternoon excursion.

Our destination was chosen and we were promptly and politely delivered by the Hybridmobile to my school park.  Pooches, what a beehive of activity it was!  Not only is the symphony performing an outdoor musical extravaganza there this evening but tomorrow the annual dragon boat races will be held!  Woo hoo!!

Our stroll was thorough but limited because, even with the cool temperatures, my manservant’s long-sleeved shirt proved no match for the bright SUNSHINE.

See you tomorrow on Silent Saturday!

Sunshine

If I had known the symphony was going to be performing at my school park I would have brought my violin.

Sunshine, it looks like it going to be a grand party!

Sunshine, it looks like it going to be a grand party!  Can we come?

...and dragon boat races too!

I’ve got my money on the Dominican Dominators in tomorrow’s Dragon Boat races!

I guess we'd better head back to the den, Starlight.

One Response to Afternoon excursion.

  1. What a nice park! We don’t have much in the way of lakes so all our outdoor activities are ocean side. It’s quite different when you have the water but not sandy beaches.
