We beat (almost) the rain.

Pooches, we had a bit of rain overnight and this morning the prognosticators were calling for rain throughout the day.  My manservant left our den quite early in order to beat the rush hour traffic to run an errand in the “concrete jungle.”  On his return he stopped by his walk/run park to complete his exercise before the rains moved in.

When he returned to rejoin our pack, he suggested that we try an excursion right away and perhaps we would beat the rain.  It seemed to be a good idea at the time but on our way to my overlook the rain started.  Not to be defeated, however, we sat at my overlook and remained in the Hybridmobile for some time.  It worked, pooches, for after ten minutes the rain stopped briefly.  We hopped out and scurried around my park for a decent stroll until the rain returned.

Seeking shelter in the Hybridmobile, we decided to extend our excursion by paying a visit to my pooch food store to restock our pantry!

We’re back at our den with plans to spend this rainy afternoon on the couch with my manservant watching old movies.  “Homeward Bound” is always a real thriller, pooches, no matter how many times I watch it!

Sunshine

Phooey! It is starting to rain harder.

Look at the different patches of rain on my Rez.

At least this is better than walking in that tall, wet grass.

Sunshine, at least this is better than walking in that tall, wet grass.

We always feel comforted when the pooch food pantry is restocked!
