Pooches, after giving his Achilles thing-a-ma-bob a hiatus from exercise for over three weeks, my manservant said today that there had been no improvement and he was going to ignore it because he had to start exercising again. Starlight and I were pleased with his decision because our excursions are much more consistent when he exercises. He headed off to his walk/run park and returned less than an hour later quite pleased with himself. He immediately retrieved the lawnmower from its resting place and began a morning of yard duty.
The lawn task was completed just in time for my manservant to shower and have a wardrobe change to yoga gear! It was off to a yoga class while Starlight and I resumed our morning naps. Upon his return, my manservant announced that he had a few errands to run and we might as well come along so we could merge the errands with an excursion. It wasn’t long before said errands were completed and the Hybridmobile had delivered us to the market to obtain our excursion lunch. A Reuben (on sun-dried tomato bread, pooches) was obtained and once again the Hybridmobile smoothly delivered us to our excursion location for the day: my old school park on my Rez!
We dined merrily on our Reuben at our favorite picnic table and, as usual, took a stroll along the waterfront for dessert. There was a delightful breeze blowing onshore and we thoroughly enjoyed our sniffing time. The only drawback was having to hear my manservant complaining about his aching legs. I was quick to point out that if he hadn’t made the foolish decision to stop his daily exercise routine three weeks ago that he would not be suffering today. Pooches, they never learn!
