Pooches, what a busy day in our pack! My manservant headed to the gym early this morning and reported that he did a light walk/run and a stationary velocipede ride. Upon returning to our den he immediately changed clothes and headed out to a not-so-nearby village to carry out work responsibilities. Before he left, Starlight asked him if the duties involved a “lunch meeting” and we were glad to hear that it did not.
It was near excursion time when he returned, but rather than hop in the Hybridmobile he hopped on the couch and said he needed some chair time before we left. There we were for an hour, pooches! Starlight and I finally became restless and he sighed. We all loaded into the Hybridmobile which hummed to the market for supplies for our excursion lunch and tonight’s meal. The Hybridmobile took us to my school park so we could enjoy the strong easterly wind coming off the water. Pooches, the wind was so strong all thoughts of trying to picnic were dismissed! (It is just as well. My manservant brought us broccoli-cranberry coleslaw for lunch. Humph!!)
We headed to the waterfront and nervously played as waves created by the strong wind crashed onshore. Starlight had a fine time barking at every pooch we passed, despite being chided each time by my manservant. After we enjoyed a fine stroll my manservant said he was ready to head back to the den and each his lunch. It will be duck strips for Starlight and me!
