Well, well, well! It seems Ol’ Pooch Winter threw us a curve ball this morning. It was snowing when we awoke and the temperature was -6ºC where it has remained for most of the day. Starlight and I bounded outside and played in the dusting of snow before the cold temperature sent us scurrying inside. My manservant, of course, declined to go on his morning walk/run. Instead, he proposed an early excursion to check out the snow.
Pooches, what an excursion it was! We first headed to my overlook where the frigid north wind kept us inside the Hybridmobile. We then headed south on my Trace, stopping by my log cabin park first. About a bit of sightseeing there we continued heading south on my Trace. When we reached that not-so-nearby village where my manservant frequently travels for his “lunch meetings” the snow began falling heavily. The Hybridmobile bravely continued heading south until we reached a satisfactory park in which we could stroll. Pooches, it was so quiet there with no traffic and the softly falling snow. After a few minutes the cold wind forced us back into the Hybridmobile which brought us safely back to our den
Our pack is ready for spring, although a bit out of the ordinary snowfall certainly livened up a routine excursion.
Keep warm, pooches.
