Unremarkable excursion.

Pooches, Ol’ Pooch Winter is getting ready to return with a vengeance. My manservant left in the wee hours of the morning for his walk/run, returning just after sunrise. Starlight and I, knowing that the weather is going to deteriorate rapidly later today, took advantage of near-normal temperatures and spent much time playing in our backyard.  When my manservant returned from his late morning yoga classes he told us that he had many errands to run and invited us along.  Starlight and I hopped at the chance, knowing that by the time the errands had been completed an excursion might not be offered.

The Hybridmobile rolled determinedly to one business establishment after another until, after almost two hours, all errands had been completed.  On the final leg of errands (at the market) my manservant had procured a bowl of chili and a bag of saltines.  The Hybridmobile took us to my peninsula/jetty park and drove to the very end where Starlight and I hopped in the boot and awaited a chance at chili.  My manservant looked at his bowl of chili and then at his one spoon and then at Starlight and me.  He then pulled packs of saltines from his pocket and proceeded to spoon chili on the crackers and offered them to us pooches!  Quite a stroke of genius on his part!  We all enjoyed chili and crackers until the bowl was emptied.  A short stroll followed lunch and we had a good time playing about until the very strong and cold wind became a bit much for all of us and we decided to retire to our den.

We’re at that very place now, pooches, awaiting the next blast of polar air from Ol’ Pooch Winter.

It is finally time for lunch after all those errands!

We're waiting for the chili.

How are we going to eat some of the chili?

There are a lot of good smells here, Starlight.

Starlight, you need to face into the wind like this or your fur will get mussed.
