Gale force excurision.

Upon his return from an early morning walk/run today, my manservant announced that the cold front had just passed us and he prognosticated that the temperature would drop throughout the day to near freezing by this afternoon.  Pooches, I called an immediate meeting of the pack and, after a brief consultation, the decision was made to undertake an excursion immediately to avoid the frigid conditions.

The Hybridmobile puttered down the lane and was being buffeted by gusty winds as we crossed my spillway on the way to my rarely visited park in the corner of my Rez.  Pooches, as the Hybridmobile came to a stop, we heard the roar of the wind as it continued to rock the Hybridmobile to and fro.  It took all my manservant’s strength to get the door opened.  He was quite the sight as he stepped out into the wind and frantically tried to retrieve his cap which sailed across the parking area!

Pooches, we knew it was going to be a short excursion as Starlight and I had to stay close to the ground.   The waves on my Rez were very  high and, after a brief struggle to walk near the shore, we retreated to the security of the Hybridmobile.

We’re back safe and sound in our den and will enjoy an early lunch of boeuf ribeye, asiago/leek potatoes, and garlic infused haricot verts as soon as my manservant takes a break from the preparation for this weekend’s academic duties.

Sunshine

Whoa, Starlight! The wind must be near gale force.

You might get swept into my Rez if you go any further!

Let's not walk out on that pier today...we'd get blown off!!
