Holy Excursion.

Pooches, it is another day of wonderful SUNSHINE in these parts.  After his walk/run this morning, my manservant came home and told us that he had a meeting this morning to go to and then had another lunch meeting at noon.  Needless to say, Starlight and I were not pleased.  I suggested to him that he needed to sort out his priorities!

He left for the morning meeting and returned back to our den shortly before noon.  He told us that he had decided to forego the lunch meeting due to the lateness of the hour and because he had accomplished so much in our library yesterday and thought he would continue with that work today.  Starlight and I were thrilled for that meant we could “fit in” an excursion!!

We agreed to have lunch at home due to the chilliness outdoors.  My manservant heated up his lentil soup and bread slice (whole wheat, of course).  Starlight and I indicated that we would stick with our pooch food.  Starlight was quite curious why anyone would eat lentil soup for two meals in a row.

After lunch, we headed out in the Bumpkinmobile.  Our direction was toward the west and we soon arrived at my chapel in the country.  Pooches, you might remember that my manservant and I came here last July B.S. (before Starlight) on a day that was very hot.  We were searching for shade out of the city in hopes of finding cooler temperatures.  Since Starlight had never been here before, I took over the duty of showing her my land around the chapel

We had a grand time running across the fields and playing in the SUNSHINE.   Starlight kept barking at the cows but they were quite a distance away so I feel no harm was done to their feelings.

After such a pastoral excursion we are quite relaxed and very ready to move to the country.

Starlight, it's a lot cooler than it was the last the my manservant and I were here!

The air smells so good out in the country. I guess it's the cows across the highway.

Can we go play in that field?

This is my kind of back yard!

You can't get much more pastoral than this, Starlight.
